If like me you're not the biggest fan of any Jordan 1 Mids hopefully both these pairs will change that view and at least consider them to be as popular as both the Jordan 1 high and the Jordan 1 Low. The main reason for this, in my opinion, is the fact they both look like new variations of a Jordan 1 high because they are white, black and grey followed by a primary or secondary colour. so many pairs of popular Jordan's are made with this colour scheme meaning it is not until a second glance that you actually notice they are a 'mid' and not a 'high' Jordan shoe.
I personally do not like the Jordan 1 Mid because it is neither here nor there in the sense of the height of the shoe. The 'Low' are the height of a trainer which makes them popular due because of the simplicity. The Jordan 1 high are very popular and something I am a big fan of. They are the height of a classic 'high top' and have remained very popular for the last 30 years because of regular releases of new colours, occasional collaborative pairs with other brands and endorsement deals with some of the biggest stars on the sports and social media scene such a Neymar Jr.

The first thing to note os that the 'Union Black Toe' (pictured above) has been inspired by the Union LA collaboration of 2018. The bland colours on the front and centre of the shoe are present with the intention of contracting the red head and really making it pop out. As previously stated this is a fairly common design thought process for all Jordan 1s whether that be the Low, Mid or Highs. The 'Game Royal' (pictured below) has a very similar design apart from a matching blue sole to the the blue heel where as the 'Union black toe' actually has a black toe.

Both pairs of shoes are made from a a combination of leather, suede and nylon just like every other Jordan. To round off the shoe, the classic Nike Swoosh sits along the side panel with the iconic winged basketball added to the upper back side of the shoe to create another recognisable shoe.
Both pairs went on sale this morning at Footlocker for £100 and sold out in seconds. This just goes to show how popular all Jordan 1 models are. On Depop they are currently listed for roughly between £150 to £250 depending on the size and colour meaning a small profit could have been made. Considering these sold out in seconds however, £100 profit minus expenses may not be worth the hassle of a first come first serve release.
