My Yeezy 350s

After a long week of school and other commitments I was clueless as to what I should write about this week which brought me to my own beaten up pair of Yeezy 350 V2 triple white.

I brought these trainers in September 2018 on the second mass release of the shoe for £180 and could have sold the shoe straight after for over £350. I wear them every single day which explains why they are battered and have seen better days. The triple white colour way got dirty after 15 minutes of wearing them and after over a year of constant use, not even the washing machine can stop the white from becoming a light grey.

For £180 theres no surprise these trainers are the comfiest I have ever worn. Having worn adidas NMDs in the past I have been a big fan of the boost technology soles that aides have built their sneaker reputation on. I found that they have been really comfortable to walk around in as the boost provides great support.

The best thing about clean all white shoes is that they are great for various occasions and styles. With this shoe, the silhouette is more geared towards streetwear so are not generally worn in formal scenarios. The narrowness of the shoe meant I had to buy half a size bigger since, as recommended by adidas, if I wanted the shoes to be the most comfortable.

That being said, the trainers were stiff and snug at the beginning before being broken in and then required a couple of the trips to the washing machine before there were as flexible as possible.

These trainers are not cheap. Not compared to other options on the market that in the opinion of some are much better. It is a pretty quality sneaker so I think you are getting what you pay for but it doesn’t distract from the cost. It is not very affordable and there are definitely other options for shoes out there. There is more of a desire for a pair of yeezys or for the hype that people use to justify the cost.

Yeezys will always have a wow factor mainly due to the reputation Kanye West has both as a designer and an artist. Even though these were part of a wide release they will always have a considerable amount of hype around them.

The best part of this shoe has to be has to be the silhouette. There are multiple complex details on the sneaker making it look even better. The tag on the back, the use of knit, the thick shoelaces and the grooves on the sole are all unique features that will always make this shoe noticeable on a street corner making the Yeezy 350 V2 one of the most hyped shoe of the last 18 months.
