Nike Mamba Week + Air Jordan X Supreme.

Nike will honour the deaths of Kobe Bryant with a full week of dedicated to the NBA legend. Included in this week we will get two pairs of shoes, the Kobe 5 "Proto" on August 23rd, a design that has been inspired by the 2010 NBA finals. A second pair called the "Lakers" will be released on August 24th. That pair will be in the classic LA Lakers Jersey colours of purple and yellow.

Also included in Mamba week, Nike will donate $1 million to the Mamba and Mambacita sports foundation as well as releasing a limited amount of Kobe Bryant Jerseys.

Elsewhere on the internet there has been a rumour and a first look at an Air Jordan X Supreme collaboration. If this is true, it will be one of the biggest and most hyped collaborations in recent history. A number of sources on Instagram say that each pair will be sell for $170 at retail, which is the standard for any Jordan 1, and resell for well over $1000. A number of recent Nike and Supreme collaborations have fallen flat with. Stock has often sat for a longer period of time than expected and the margin of profit for the reseller has not been as large as expected. This collaboration however will sell out instantly. As you would imagine, nothing has been 100% confirmed by either Nike or Supreme but we can expect to see this drop come in early 2021.
